Amber Tennyson was born in Queens, New York, partly raised there and grew up in Atlanta, GA. The granddaughter of notable jazz composer/songwriter Bill Tennyson, Jr. [1923-1959] first independent composer on Mercury Records, ASCAP member since 1950, who created works for artists named Ella Fitzgerald, Johnny Mathis, Jo Stafford, Sarah Vaughan, John Coltrane & many more; and granddaughter of an aerospace engineer George Robertson, a managing engineer for Northrop Grumman and on the engineering team for the original Apollo 11 for NASA, first aircraft to land the moon.
Amber has studied music, dance, and acting since early childhood. Amber graduated the Film & Video Production program at Musicians Institute Spring of 2009. She’s a songwriter and ASCAP member since 2005 who performs original music throughout Los Angeles and soon internationally. She is currently working on an array of new wave music that will be appearing on radio, tv, and for submission to major music label. Amber has also been involved in TV/Film getting her first start as a highschool student on People TV Atlanta, since moving to Los Angeles, CA two years ago she has worked on a number of sets of major television production studios, is SAG affiliated and relaunching her new website this winter which will feature her newly scripted WebTV series which will debut at the top of the year.

Hello, I just read ur descripton and all, and I wanted to let you know that although I dont know you, I just got a message from you on myspace about this site, and you are pretty awesome. I get inspired everytime I hear about someone moving around the country to fulfill dreams. I am afraid of doing that! But theres so much that I want to do. Last night I was thinking of a script I wanted to write, and then I got your message. Maybe you can push me to get on it!!
